Tekmos Communications
are a specialist design and manufacturing
company, providing interface solutions to the Telecommunications
Industry, world-wide. We are a UK Company, with all our Research and
Development being done in the UK, as is the majority of our
manufacturing.
What do we do?
We offer a
comprehensive product range designed to overcome problems
associated with interface mismatch. You know the feeling, how do we
plug THIS into THAT? Some of the interface problems we have solutions
for:-
Impedance Matching,
connecting twisted pair equipment, typically RJ45,
into a coaxial network, typically BNC. We have developed the most
comprehensive range of Impedance Matching Telecoms Baluns in the world. The 75
ohm coax presentation is available on BNC, Type43, HDC43, 1.6/5.6 or
1.0/2.3 connectors, converting to 120 ohm twisted pair on RJ45, 50 way
Telco, 37 way D or IDC Krone. These Baluns are available as individual
Balun Connectors, Balun Panels, with densities as high as 48 x E1
Circuits in 1U of rack space, and Balun Cables, standard or made to
measure.
Signal sampling, E1
or T1.
Coaxial, by means of a range attenuators, Straight, "T", "U" and "Y"
configurations are available, normally -20dB, but, this can be varied.
Twisted Pair, Splitters incorporating resistors.
Gender changing for
the majority of coaxial connectors.
Series changing between BNC, Type43, 1.6/5.6 and 1.0/2.3, individually
and in 19" panels.
Through coupler 19"
panels, straight through, or, with series changing.
