Designed for connection to Ciena E1 K2 I/O Card™. The Tekmos 21E1 Balun Panel converts 42 ports—21 E1 channels—from 75ohm coax to 120ohm twisted pair. Twisted pair connectors are female 50 way Telco (Amp Champ), one for the transmit circuits, one for the receive circuits.
Complies with ITU-T G.703 standard for bi-directional signal conversion at 2.048Mbit/s and 8.448Mbit/s data rates. Coaxial connectors can be specified as BNC, Type43 (BT) or 1.6/5.6 (Small Siemens).
Cables are available for connecting the balun panel to the Ciena E1 K2 I/O Card.
