The 16 E1 Balun Panel converts 32 ports—16 E1 channels—from 75ohm coax to 120ohm twisted pair. Twisted pair connectors are male 50 way Telco (Amp Champ).
Complies with ITU-T G.703 standard for impedance matching and bi-directional signal conversion at 2.048Mbit/s and 8.448Mbit/s data rates. Coax connectors are BNC female.
Cables are available for connecting the balun panel to Nortel equipment.
