The 96 Bearer PCB Balun Panel provides signal conversion, impedance matching and isolation protection between the 75 ohm network and a JDSU SS7 system. Accepts unbalanced bearer traffic via Type 43 (SMZ) or 1.6/5.6 (Small Siemens) coax connectors and presents them as 96 balanced bearers on six 50 way Telco female connectors - 16 bearers per connector.

Cables and T Pieces are available to connect the Balun Panel to the network signal source. Shielded twisted pair cables are available to connect the Balun Panel to the SS7 system, concentrator unit or JDSU Splitters.

Functionally equivalent to JDSU part nos. E7569-60001 & E7569-60002, this model comprises an integrated pcb based slimline panel. Separate cables are provided for greater flexibility during installation and lower system costs.
