Description
Designed to meet or exceed CCITT G.703 Specifications for bi-directional signal conversion, at data rates from 2.048Mbps to 8.448Mbps. Provides 75 ohm (coax) to 120 ohm (twisted pair) impedance matching for up to 48 E1 Circuits. Coaxial connectors can be specified as 1.0/2.3 or HDC43 (BT), the twisted pair connectors are shielded RJ45 / RJ48C.

This high density Balun Panel only occupies 1 unit of rack space in a standard 19" rack, the most space efficient panel available. The front Tufnol Panel isolates the coaxial connectors, internal jumpers control the grounding options, unless otherwise specified units are supplied with Tx Ring grounded direct to the shield of the RJ45 connectors, Rx Ring is grounded to Pins 7 & 8 and the RJ45 shield via a 0.1uf capacitor. Please advise when ordering if you require a different grounding scheme.
