32 x E1 (64 Port) Balun Panel

Designed for Lantern Communications. The Tekmos 32E1 Balun Panel converts 64 ports—32 E1 channels—from 75ohm coax to 120ohm twisted pair. Twisted pair connectors are female 50 way Telco (Amp Champ). Complies with ITU-T G.703 standard for bi-directional signal conversion at 2.048Mbit/s and 8.448Mbit/s data rates. Coaxial connectors can be specified as BNC, Type43 (BT) or 1.6/5.6 (Small Siemens). Coax and Telco connectors are mounted on the front of the unit.

Cables are available for connecting the balun panel to Lantern Communications equipment. Occupying 2U rack space in a standard 19" rack, an optional 23" mounting kit is also available.
