21 x E1 (42 Port) Balun Panel

Provides 75/120 ohm impedance matching for 21 E1 Circuits. Coaxial connectors can be specified as BNC, Type43 (BT) or 1.6/5.6 (Small Siemens). Twisted pair connectors are 2 female 50 way Telco (Amp Champ), one for the transmit circuits, the other for the receive circuits, as per Ciena K2 E1 I/O Card specification, complete with presence detection circuit. Please advise us if you require a different wiring scheme.

Can be supplied with cables for connecting to the Ciena E1 K2 Interface Card. Occupying 1U rack space in a standard 19" rack, with reversible mounting ears, a 23" mounting kit is also available. Designed to exceed ITU-T G.703 Specifications for bi-directional signal conversion at data rates from 2.048 to 8.448Mbit/s.

Resolves the 75/120 ohm impedance mis-match between twisted pair equipment and coax cabling schemes.
Industry standard BNC, Type43, 1.6/5.6 and Telco Connectors allow convenient and flexible cabling.
High density design converts 21 x E1 Circuits in only one 19" Rack Unit (1.75" 44mm).
