Description
A range of versatile Balun cable assemblies which provide a low cost, flexible solution to the problem of connecting balanced 120 ohm twisted pair interfaces to an unbalanced 75 ohm coax network. Suitable for 2Mbit/s E1 transmissions up to 180 metres, for 8Mbit/s E2 transmissions please specify Category 5e, 120 ohm cable, see part number chart at the end of this page. The 120 ohm, 2 pair, Foil Screened cable is terminated at one end in a shielded RJ45 plug, complete with strain relief boot. The other end is split into two legs, each leg is over sleeved, labelled Tx and Rx respectively and terminated in Balun connectors. Available with float mount Type43 plugs for installation in existing DDF frames.
