- The mechanical endurance of the coaxial connectors are designed to give in excess of 500 connect - reconnect cycles.
- On the balanced side, the 120 ohm interface connector is designed to accept termination of single strand conductors with a nominal diameter of 0.50mm
- The force required to terminate the IDC is designed to remain fully operative and intact after 200 connect/reconnect cycles for Krone IDC Terminals.
- Simple cable anchorage method integral with the balun is achieved by passing the cable through the hollow section under the terminal markings.

- The coaxial connectors are designed to give in excess of 500 connection / disconnection cycles.
- The recommended number of reconnections at the IDC termination point is up to 20 connections.
- Cable anchorage is via a retaining path around the stuffer cap and grounding ring.
